The Alpha Dolly is a pofessional camera dolly system with an electromechanical column that scores with a low starting position of the column (710mm/ 27.95 inch) and a new slender design. It takes only e.g. three Li-Ion standard batteries (14,4V/10-15A) to operate the dolly which results in a high flexibility and independence regarding the power supply.

The ALPHA DOLLY is a modular camera dolly system. The foundation is the Leggero Base Dolly which, in combination with a simple base plate, is a fully functional dolly. However, only in combination with the removable electromechanical column, the Dolly becomes a highly sophisticated creative tool for grips and filmmakers all around the world.

- Power supply via 3 standard Li-Ion batteries (14,4V 10-15A) V-Mount or Gold Mount/AB
- The new seating position at the column is equivalent to the familiar working method of the hydraulic camera dollies. The operator stays put while the camera lifts.
- Via seat arm adapters available in different lengths and a new telescopic seat arm, the seating position may be adjusted in height.
The Wheel Setting Clamp has 3 settings:
CRAB -> Enables connected steering of the wheels.
FREE -> Enables the wheels to rotate freely (for use on track).
FIXED -> Allows the wheels to be locked at set angles of 45 degrees.
